Well, the last few weeks have
been kind of a bummer from the technical perspective. Between
Richard's crash and my power problems things have been slowed down a bit.
Sorry, but some things are just out of our
control.
The good news is that it looks like things are
ready to go, now. Richard is back up (yeah! no more geocities) and
my computer is only crashing due to the evil of Bill Gates and not all the
little parts inside of it.
A quick word
about MS Windows. The ONLY way you can get rid of this toy is to
die, shut down, or drop it instead of healing the 2pts on a double wrench.
You CAN'T trade it in for damage when you are shot. You CAN'T trade
it in at a chop shop. You CAN'T decide to load Linux.
Also, it is an OPTION to infect others with your
misfortune. If you want to give people Windows instead of using your
main laser, you have to TELL me that.
I sure some of the misconceptions with this toy
have come from the write-up (I guess I need to change it some more from
what I found out on the web). If someone could do a new write-up for
it that you think would stop these problems, please send it to me.
SETUP
Twonky is off taking a nap.
AS400 and Combot are random for the turn.
REGISTER 1
Simon races 3 east, getting as far away from the
flag as he possibly can.
Proctoid heads 2 north, onto a conveyor.
Treb tries to move 2 south and mashes up against
a barrier.
AS400 teleports 3 north.
Crabbot steps 1 east.
Khaffest lefts south.
TBWNN lefts west to face Treb (and wonders what
the big grin on his face is for).
Combot lefts west.
Tron u-turns east.
ELEMENTS
Twonky is sent 1 north and righted south.
Proctoid is shuffled 1 east and lefted west.
Simon is conveyed 1 west and lefted north.
WEAPONS
Combot blasts the sleeping Twonky, 1pt.
TWBNN suckst 1pt from Treb, causing his ablative
coat to fall off.
REGISTER 2
Treb feels very naked without his ablative coat
and self-destructs in embarrassment. 16pts to Treb, 8pts to Khaffest
(bye bye, Khaffest), 8pts to TBWNN, 2pts to AS400, & 1pt to Proctoid.
Tron teleports 3 east, onto and through the
purple portal just in time to see the parts from Treb and Khaffest start
to land.
Combot tries to teleport west, but Twonky is in
the way. So he backs up 1 east.
TBWNN backs up 1 east, onto a teleporter.
Proctoid lefts south.
AS400 rights east.
Simon u-turns south.
Crabbot u-turns west.
ELEMENTS
Twonky is sent 1 east and lefted west.
Proctoid is carried 1 north and righted west.
WEAPONS
Combot blasts Twonky for getting in the way, 1pt.
Tron double shots Twonky just for the fun of it,
2pts.
REGISTER 3
Simon zooms 3 south.
Proctoid steps 1 west onto a teleporter and some
spikes, 1pt.
TBWNN teleports 3 west onto flag #1.
AS400 lefts north.
Crabbot lefts south.
Tron rights south.
Combot rights north.
ELEMENTS
Simon is sent 1 south.
Twonky is carried 1 north and righted south.
TBWNN archives,
tags, & picks up a bridge layer.
REGISTER 4
Simon rushes 3 more south.
Tron runs 2 south, pressing his face against
a barrier.
AS400 backs up south, onto a teleporter.
Proctoid rights north.
Crabbot rights west.
TBWNN rights north.
Combot lefts west.
ELEMENTS
Twonky is sent 1 east.
WEAPONS
TBWNN sucks 1pt from AS400, locking his 4th
register.
Tron & Proctoid exchange shots from
their double barrel lasers, 2pts each. Locking Tron's 5th register
and Proctoid's 5th and 4th.
Combot blasts AS400, 1pt locking his 3rd
register.
REGISTER 5
Simon keeps running 3 south, off the
conveyor.
Combot rushes 2 west, onto a teleporter and
into a barrier.
AS400 teleports 2 north, onto a conveyor.
Proctoid lefts west.
Tron lefts east.
Crabbot lefts south.
TBWNN rights east.
ELEMENTS
Twonky is sent 1 east.
AS400 is moved 1 east and righted east.
WEAPONS
TBWNN sucks another point from Tron, locks
his 4th register.
TBWNN repairs
2pts (extra warranty).
Crabbot and Proctoid shut down.
Whew!
Finally done.
Remember, the turns are now due at 8am Sundays,
until I switch schedules.
